Wouldn’t it be great to work at a firm where you have the opportunity to grow and apply your skills in a broad range of services?
At Slattery & Holman, we get that. We know most CPA firms require new staff to choose a designated career path such as accounting, assurance, tax, or business advisory services.
We don’t force you into a designated career track. New staff members are encouraged to have frequent and direct contact with clients. We promote flexibility, creativity, and most of all, upward mobility.
During your first two years as a new team member, you can expect to:
- Participate in compilation and review engagements
- Prepare corporate and individual tax returns
- Assist clients with tax planning
- Help clients with accounting records and systems
- Contribute to consulting projects
At the beginning of your career, you’ll have a mentor to help you successfully transition from undergrad to public accounting. A vital training resource, your mentor will help you learn from both structured training programs and on-the-job instruction while serving clients.
You’ll not only build upon the base of knowledge you acquired in college, but you’ll become a versatile professional and an integral part of your team.
